With my next NFL mock review of the year, there was a real desire to trade a former quarterback, and it’s also just to blatant an option to ignore it.
When the Vikings acquired a second-round get from the Texans, they made it clear that they were planning to move up in the draft for a player. Additionally, it’s possible that the Vikings want to capitalize on this amazing second round and that this review class is much better than the class of next year.
However, it’s more likely that they’re looking for a player after losing Kirk Cousins in free agency, but I’ve got them trading off. After removing Mike Williams and converting Keenan Allen, the Chargers have a lot of squad holes.
With the Giants perhaps hunting a player and the Patriots and Cardinals perhaps willing to leave the No. 3 and No. 4 holes, both.
In summary, the Vikings will have their fair share of potential suitors, and it should n’t be surprising if they advance ahead of the draft ( to No. 4 ) or during the draft ( No. 5 ).
